On May 7, 2025, Mária Farkas, sustainability researcher at HUN-REN SZTAKI involved in the implementation of the COPROLOGS project, and ESG lecturer at Corvinus University, gave a presentation at a webinar organized by the KÖVET Association. The presentation focused on the relationship between sustainability reporting frameworks (CSRD/ESRS) and environmental management systems (ISO 14001).
The core question of the lecture was how the ISO 14001 standard can be used as a foundation for corporate sustainability reporting, and what role such management systems may play in the era of CSRD-based reporting.
Through its research at the intersection of digitalization and sustainability, HUN-REN SZTAKI supports companies in turning environmental compliance into a strategic advantage; the COPROLOGS project is one such initiative.
