HUN-REN SZTAKI, which is also responsible for the implementation of the COPROLOGS project, was represented at the Science Expo held between October 28 and 30, 2025, in Building D of the Millenáris in Budapest. At the centrally located HUN-REN stand in the exhibition area, visitors could explore research on biological aging supported by artificial intelligence, as well as an installation created at the intersection of AI and art.
In the foyer, the institute’s drawing robot and a ground research vehicle, Husky, were available for hands-on exploration. Outside the building, an autonomous vehicle parked on site could also be viewed. On the first day of the event, several researchers from HUN-REN SZTAKI gave presentations, and the institute’s robots were also present: two quadruped robots and one humanoid robot were showcased up close. A professional roundtable discussion on the first day was moderated by András Benczúr, Head of the HUN-REN SZTAKI Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory, while on the second day the discussion was led by Péter Gáspár, Head of the Systems and Control Theory Research Laboratory.
