Balázs Németh, researcher of Coprologs, received the Bolyai Medal along with thirteen other researchers. The plaque was presented in the Hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences by Tamás Freund, President of the Academy.
"Last Thursday, I was honoured to be among the fourteen researchers who were awarded the Bolyai Medal for their achievements during the 2018-2021 Bolyai János Research Fellowship period," said Németh. He added that this was the second Bolyai Fellowship period in his career.
The research has resulted in the development of a control design methodology for autonomous vehicle and transport systems, which is able to take into account the movement of human-driven vehicles in complex traffic environments through coordinated and safe control of autonomous vehicles.
