Thirty industrial organisations opened their doors to the public during the SmartMan Festival, organised and hosted by the Industry 4.0 National Technology Platform Association (NTPSZ), chaired by HUN-REN SZTAKI, which also runs the COPROLOGS project. The continuation of the festival, which took place from 26 February to 8 March 2024, was announced by Minister of National Economy Márton Nagy. Prof. Dr. László Monostori, Director of HUN-REN SZTAKI, President of NTPSZ, also spoke at the event.
"Hungarian businesses should get involved in supply chains and exports if they want to move up a level. Neither path is easy, but the resources for development are available, and green and technological transition tenders are constantly appearing, so all that is needed is an entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to take advantage of the opportunities," the minister said.
László Monostori stressed that "learning about the latest technological solutions can therefore be a vital issue for even small businesses, and it is not impossible to acquire them, as they are becoming cheaper and more readily available".
