Five speakers presented about the industrial dimension of sustainability at the EPIC InnoLabs meetup "Industry x Sustainability". EPIC InnoLabs is a joint venture between the HUN-REN SZTAKI and the Fraunhofer Society.
György Varga, developer of Shiwaforce, presented the sustainability and ESG options of the Jira platform, highlighting the importance of education on using its features properly. Dóra Fazekas, CEO of Cambridge Econometrics, presented the company's activities, based on Hungarian case studies.
Botond Kádár, CEO of EPIC InnoLabs, also used real case studies to demonstrate the sustainability benefits of production optimization. Mária Farkas, sustainability expert, presented on ESG regulation. And Lilla Bartuszek, founder of ÉTOSZ, spoke about the importance and challenges of industrial digitalisation development in municipalities.
