For the 200th anniversary of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), a celebratory event series is being produced. On January 5 2026, researchers of HUN-REN SZTAKI also presented at MTA’s “Artificial intelligence through the lense of mathematics” event.

András Benczúr, head of the institute’s Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory held a presentatin titled “Trustworthy AI in mobile radio networks: explainability, causality, uncertainty”. Balázs Csanád Csáji, researcher of the COPROLOGS project, presented under the title of “Resampled Median-of-Means for Heavy-Tailed Bandits”.
